Sumi-e is a Japanese term for the bold style of painting that has developed around the the Chinese calligraphy they call Kanji. Chris has long been interested in simple expressive line and has taken this style to heart. Her mastery of the medium can be seen on her own website. Her images are available as original paintings, prints, and note cards. Lately she has been focusing on birds and cats. | ||
